Call for Papers
Dear Scholars,
We are pleased to announce that International Conference on Islamic Business Research (ICIBR’2026) welcomes research papers written in either English or Arabic. The conference is organized by The International Islamic Marketing Association, the conference will take place in May 14-15, 2026, at Alanya city, Türkiye. The conference will be hosted as hybrid with physical and virtual attendance options.
The conference offers an interdisciplinary platform to examine how Islamic principles and Shariah-compliant frameworks address contemporary business challenges, promote ethical governance, social justice, and sustainable economic development. It explores the role of Islamic values—such as fairness, transparency, accountability, and risk-sharing—in shaping inclusive and resilient business models, while highlighting the integration of digital transformation, fintech, AI, and data analytics within Shariah-compliant ecosystems.
The conference features high-quality theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented research on Islamic banking, halal industries, entrepreneurship, governance, and public policy, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, financial inclusion, ethical leadership, and gender equity. Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, it advances responsible growth, quality education, and global partnerships through an Islamic business perspective.
Conference Scope
The scope of the conference covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Islamic business, finance, and economics in a globalized economy
- Shariah governance, compliance, and ethical decision-making
- Islamic banking, takaful, and capital markets
- Halal industries and supply chain management
- Islamic entrepreneurship and SMEs
- Digital transformation, fintech, and AI in Islamic finance
- Sustainability, ESG, and social impact investing in Islamic contexts
- Islamic accounting, auditing, and reporting standards
- Islamic business education, curriculum development, and pedagogy
- Public policy, regulation, and institutional frameworks for Islamic markets
We are pleased to announce that Springer Nature’s proceedings/book technically support ICIBR’2026 Conference. The conference proceedings will be published with an ISBN number and indexed by SCOPUS.
A selection of high-quality papers will also be considered for Journal Publication in Q1 journals in a dedicated special issue, subject to further development to meet the journal requirements.
In response to the interest expressed by contributors and audience, we are also pleased to announce that research papers written in Arabic are welcome. Dedicated discussion sessions will be arranged for Arabic-language papers during the conference. Moreover, accepted Arabic papers within the conference themes will be published in special proceedings designated specifically for those contributions.
